Another “Potter” Actor Joins The Cast of “Beauty and the Beast”!

In a short interview with What’s On Stage, Ray Fearon, who voiced Firenze in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, revealed that he is part of the upcoming live action Beauty and the Beast adaptation. Since Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) wrapped filming last month, we haven’t heard much about the film. So as we impatiently wait for the release of the film – currently scheduled to be 2017 – it’s great to receive another small snippet of information.

Ray said,

I’ve just finished doing Beauty and the Beast with Emma Watson, Emma Thompson and everybody else. I’m back to New York after this; the last series of Da Vinci’s Demons, which starts to air in America in October… they show it here on Fox.

Other cast members include Potter actress Emma Thompson (Professor Trelawney) and of course Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens as the Beast. To catch up on info related to the film, check out our round-up here, which tells you everything we know so far.
