Sonia Friedman Discusses “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”

Sonia Friedman, the producer of the upcoming West End production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, recently spoke with the Evening Standard about the exciting new project.

Friedman, who is a self-acknowledged workaholic admits,

I don’t know what to do if I’m not working. I’m more relaxed working than lying on a beach.

There’s no doubt that Friedman will bring that passion to her work on Cursed Child as well. When asked if the hype for the production made it more difficult to maintain the secrecy, she shared,

Everyone involved is aware of the responsibility, but we mustn’t be daunted. We’re all from the ‘work comes before profit’ world — so long as we stick to that, we’ll be fine.
