People’s Choice Awards 2016 Nominations Announced
The nominees for the 2016 People’s Choice Awards have been announced, and a number of Potter alumni’s projects have made the cut!
The Amy Schumer-led comedy Trainwreck, which featured a cameo from Daniel Radcliffe, has been nominated for Favorite Comedic Movie. You may remember that Radcliffe also recently starred in the BBC docudrama The Gamechangers, and the game that inspired it, Grand Theft Auto V, has been nominated in the Best Video Game category.
Meanwhile, also nominated is the latest live-action Disney film, Cinderella, which was directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh (Professor Gilderoy Lockhart) and featured Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) as the Fairy Godmother. HBO’s Game of Thrones, which counts Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) and David Bradley (Argus Filch) among its ever-expanding cast, scored a nomination for Favorite TV Show, while Alfie Enoch‘s (Dean Thomas) latest show, How to Get Away with Murder, picked up a nomination for Favorite Network TV Drama. Finally, David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.) has been nominated for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Actor.
This year, fans cast more than 72 million votes to determine the nominees, and now you can cast your vote for the winners. Fans will be able to vote online until December 3. To view the full list of nominees, click here.
