Tom Felton Flocks to “Sheep’N’Wolves”
It certainly seems as though Tom Felton is going to continue to be extremely busy in the near future. Following the recent news of his casting in Feed, A United Kingdom, and A Message to the King, Felton has officially joined the cast of animated film Sheep’N’Wolves.
Sheep’N’Wolves is a family film from Russian TV and film animation studio Wizart, which is the team behind the Snow Queen franchise, and will be directed by Maxim Volkov, written by Neil Landau, and produced by Sergey Selyanov.
The synopsis certainly suggests that Felton’s latest role will be rather different from his previous projects.
Sheep’N’Wolves tells the story of a magical land where a flock of sheep find their carefree days interrupted by a pack of wolves who move to a nearby ravine.
Felton will voice aspiring pack leader Wolf Grey, who finds his world turned upside down when he drinks a magic potion and transforms into a sheep. He will be joined by Ruby Rose (Orange Is the New Black), who will voice Grey’s beautiful fiancée Bianca, and China Anne McClain (Grown Ups), who will also sing the theme song.
Sheep’N’Wolves looks as though it will prove to be a light hearted and mischievous family film. The film will be released spring 2016.
Felton will next be seen in on the big screen in historical drama Risen, which is set for release January 26, 2016.
