Eddie Redmayne and Domhnall Gleeson Talk Oscar Nominations
The 2016 Academy Awards are coming up soon, and the nominees recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about their Oscar-nominated films.
Among these nominees is Eddie Redmayne, who will soon be portraying Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Redmayne was nominated in the Best Actor category for his portrayal of the transgender woman Lili Elbe in The Danish Woman. You can watch Redmayne talk about his role below.
Another nominee is the film Brooklyn for Best Picture, which features Potter alumni Domhnall Gleeson (Bill Weasley), Julie Walters (Molly Weasley), and Jim Broadbent (Horace Slughorn). The film follows the story of an Irish immigrant in 1950s Brooklyn as she falls in love with a local. In the clip below, Gleeson speaks about his role in the film.
