One Teacher Made His Students’ Quidditch Dreams a Reality
Anshu Agarwal, teacher and photographer for Anshoots Photography, spent four Sundays doing a Quidditch-themed photoshoot for his students by using levitation photography, a technique that makes it look as if the subject of the photo is floating – or in Agarwal’s case, flying.
Harry Potter has touched people from all over the world, and the students from the village of Uttarakhand in India are of no exception. Aragwal told BuzzFeed India that he shows the movies to his students on Sundays.
They once fantasized about being witches and wizards themselves.
He didn’t waste any time making their dreams become a reality.
When I told them I could give them flying lessons, they were so excited they literally dragged me to the fields. It took four Sundays of hopping on a one-foot-high wooden bench to stash enough material for the final images.
As you can see, the results are something that any Quidditch fan would be proud of.
The satisfaction and sense of achievement I felt after roping in some magic into their lives can’t be expressed in words.
