The “Beauty and the Beast” Teaser Trailer Is Here!

It feels like we’ve been waiting forever to catch our first glimpse of the upcoming Disney live-action Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) as Belle and Downton Abbey‘s Dan Stevens as the Beast. But finally, the first official trailer for the film is here! The trailer was revealed on Good Morning America on Monday morning (May 23) and then shared across social media, using the rose that features in the story as the icon for the film, like the slipper that featured in the recent Cinderella.

The trailer gives us a taste of what to expect in the upcoming film, revealing the atmospheric castle, as well as a snippet of Emma’s voice in character. The trailer also revealed that the official release date for the film would be March 17, 2017.

With under a year to go until the film is released, we’re already extremely excited. Hopefully, it won’t be long until we get to see a full-length trailer and see more of Emma in character, as well as the rest of the cast!
