Thank You, Professor Lupin
Dear Professor Lupin,
I am writing this to thank you. You are an amazing teacher who has taught us so much. Even though you were only our professor for one year, you continued to be a source of knowledge for years to come.
You taught us that our greatest fears can be beaten with bravery and a little bit of laughter.
You taught us that everyone deserves love and everyone will be loved. You also taught me not to run from love, even if I think I don’t deserve it.
You taught me that looks can be deceiving and to not judge a book by its cover. That monsters aren’t always bad, and you have no idea the struggles that someone is going through or what is inside their heart.
You taught me that there is power behind a happy thought and darkness and depression can’t beat me.
Most importantly, you taught me how important caring is. How much you cared for your students, friends, and family. Having a big heart is just as important, if not more important, than being smart. A little bit of kindness can brighten someone’s day.
And my favorite words of wisdom will always be…
