Expedition Wandless: Day 5
Adalina Mancer here, and the fifth day has wrapped up, and it has been an interesting couple of days.
Japan completed the Selfie Task in what seems to be an unusual way. Terrified to approach and ask a Muggle tourist for a photo, they decided to go another way. They ran at a tourist, hugged him, snapped a photo, and ran away. They slapped a Geofilter on it and posted it to SnapChat. Due to the fact that this is the first team to use SnapChat, we have no idea how to retrieve this photo, much to the dismay of everyone on the Wizolympics staff.
Team USA has finally completed the Starbucks Challenge, 17 hours after starting it. They have also successfully called for an Uber and began their trip out of Ubatuba. They got 20 points for killing the caffeine and another 10 for calling that Uber!
Brazil has also completed the Starbucks Challenge, receiving 20 points. However, when they encountered the American team in the Starbucks, they were less than friendly. Judge Bryan Baxbe did not agree with the Brazilian technique of bribing the shopkeeper to mess up Team USA’s orders on purpose and docked them 5 for their foul play.
The German team completed the Shopping Challenge, much to the approval of our judges. They spent the least amount of money (which Judge Norma Weazlebe gave 10 bonus points for) and came out in matching jeans and white T-shirts.
The competition is really starting to heat up! Whom do you think is going to win??
