Potter DIY: Melon Brain
by FamilyFun
Straight from the Department of Mysteries, these brains have left the tank and landed on your table!
What You’ll Need:
- 1 small seedless watermelon
- Vegetable peeler
- Paring knife
- Toothpick
Directions:
Step 1: Using a vegetable peeler, peel away the green rind of the watermelon. Leave the inner white rind intact.
Step 2: Cut off the bottom of the melon to keep it from rolling.
Step 3: Use a toothpick to outline squiggling crevices to mimic the folds of the outside of the brain.
Step 4: Use a sharp paring knife to carve along the toothpick tracings to show the inner pink melon.
