We’re very excited that you’re the HeForShe youth ambassador, and I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with the title.
According to Trudeau, during the visit, the two discussed the gender equality advocacy work that Watson has been partaking in for several years, as well as the enormous impact that HeForShe is making around the world. Trudeau said,
Her voice is extremely important in making people realize how important this is, and it’s a great opportunity to connect with her.
Watson is in Ottawa to attend the One Young World summit, where she will meet with youth who are doing their part to inspire gender equality.
