Emma Watson’s New Film Gets a Release Date

We finally have a release date for Emma Watson’s new film, The Circle! The thriller, which also stars Tom Hanks and Star Wars: The Force Awakens star John Boyega, will hit theaters on April 28, 2017.

The Circle follows a young employee, Mae (Watson), who is working her way up the corporate ladder at the world’s largest tech company, where the company’s founder (Hanks) encourages her to live with complete transparency.

The End of the Tour screenwriter James Ponsoldt is adapting and directing Dave Eggers’s international best-seller of the same name. Gary Goetzman and Hanks are producing under their Playtone banner, alongside Anthony Bregman and Ponsoldt.

We’re going to be seeing a lot of Watson on the big screen in 2017 since The Circle‘s release is a mere six weeks after Disney’s live-action retelling of Beauty and the Beast hits theaters! Are you excited for her upcoming films? Let us know your thoughts!
