J.K. Rowling Reminds Us All Why She Is the Queen
In case anyone had any doubts, J.K. Rowling has proven, once again, that she has the biggest heart in the business.
Entertainment Weekly reported this week that Rowling sent Harry Potter books to a young girl in war-torn Aleppo, Syria.
Bana al-Abed is a seven-year-old girl who recently tweeted about her love for the Harry Potter movies.
Hi @jk_rowling I watched Harry Potter movie, Bana would like to read the book.- Fatemah #Aleppo

Rowling responded by sending her e-books in hopes that it may help distract her from the ever-increasing danger in her hometown. Bana then wrote a handwritten thank you note and tweeted it to Rowling.
My friend @jk_rowling how are you? Thank you for the book, love you from #Aleppo. – Bana pic.twitter.com/c84b4Zux0G

Bana has since sent out tweets of her and her brothers reading the e-books with smiles on their faces.

Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
Don’t mind us… we just have a piece of dust in our eye…
