“Fantastic Beasts” Brings In $500 Million!
It looks like the Fantastic Beasts train is still chugging along, and more and more people are jumping aboard!
We previously reported that Fantastic Beasts dominated the box office in its first weekend.
Now finishing its second week, it has surpassed the $500 million mark worldwide at the box office.
So far, the film has gotten $161 million domestically and approximately $339 million internationally.
It has also put its foot in the door of being one of the top ten biggest releases of 2016 and currently holds the No. 9 spot!
Fantastic Beasts has beaten out the first five Potter films in their second-week international box office numbers and comes in just under Half-Blood Prince, which garnered approximately $502 million.
