Video: Emma Watson Describes What She Loves About “Beauty and the Beast”
There’s just over a month to go until the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson, hits theaters. Emma and her co-star, Dan Stevens, recently spoke to Pinkvilla about what to expect.
Emma describes Belle as a “feisty young woman who speaks her mind” and says she has loved her and loved the story since she was four.
For me, it didn’t feel contrived in the same way that perhaps other fairy tales have, [because] Beast and Belle really dislike each other at the beginning – they really don’t get on. And then they form this friendship. And then they fall in love.
