James and Oliver Phelps to Present at Pride of Birmingham Awards
For once, the Weasley twins and Mr. Filch are in agreement: There are many incredible people in the Birmingham, England, area! Oliver and James Phelps have joined with David Bradley (Argus Filch) and a host of luminaries as presenters at the fourth annual Pride of Birmingham Awards to be held on April 20, 2017, at the Great Hall at Birmingham University.
The Birmingham Mail–sponsored awards highlight people of all ages and accomplishments.
[We search for] inspirational people from all walks of life, ordinary people doing extraordinary things. But the one thing they will have in common is that their achievements are awe-inspiring and a lesson to us all. And this year, there’s an added A-list bonus. Each of our winners will go forward to the judging process for the Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards, in partnership with TSB, which are screened on ITV in the autumn.
The awards, known as the Brummies, have no age requirement or limit, and young and old are nominated by those in their community. From those who have survived tragedies, illness, or injury, to others who have raised money for charity or given of themselves to better the world, each of the winners has proven to be a beacon of light and hope to others.
