Seven Reasons That Prove Harry, Ron, and Hermione Are Best Friends
All friendships have their ups and downs, and the trio’s relationship is no different. However, regardless of their fights, they always come together and overcome their problems. So in honor of National Best Friends Day, I’ve compiled a list of the top seven reasons why Harry, Ron, and Hermione are best friends.
They’re Loyal to Each Other
Despite all their fallouts and stumble, they always reunite and stand by each other. They face and defeat many obstacles together. Hermione and Ron don’t even hesitate when they decide to help Harry find the Horcruxes and defeat Voldemort.
They Balance Each Other Out
This is certainly the case at the end of Sorcerer’s Stone. Ron’s chess ability combined with Hermione’s intelligence and Harry’s bravery led to the reclamation of the stone. It took all three of them to achieve their task.
They Cover for Each Other
The incident with the troll marked the beginning of a long friendship. This enemy altered the dynamics and united them against an obstacle. Not only did the troll bring them all together, but it was also the first of many deadly encounters they overcame together. In addition, teacher’s pet Hermione helped keep the boys out of trouble by covering up for them.
They Support Each Other
Despite their aversion to the idea, both Harry and Ron support Hermione’s SPEW campaign. In addition, Hermione supports both Ron and Harry during their Quidditch matches.
They’re Straight with Each Other
They’re not afraid to tell each other the truth. When Harry keeps snapping and is a bit rude in Order of the Phoenix, Hermione and Ron were honest with him about his behavior.
They Help Each Other
Hermione helped the boys during their entire Hogwarts careers by supporting them academically. In return, the boys were there and showed her that there was more to school than books and cleverness.
They’re There for Each Other
When Harry needed someone to help him escape the Dursleys, Ron and the rest of the Weasleys were there for him. Through all their hardships, the three of them were always by each other’s sides.
