Sean Biggerstaff Joins Georgia Moffett for New “Doctor Who” Audio Adventures!
Actor and upcoming MuggleNet Live! guest Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood) has been cast in a new Doctor Who spin-off of “audio adventures,” according to Radio Times. The stories, which are being produced by Big Finish, will also star actress Georgia Moffett, who is reportedly returning to her role as Jenny, the Doctor’s daughter:
RadioTimes.com can also reveal that the Doctor’s daughter will have a male companion for her audio adventures: Sean Biggerstaff, the actor best know [sic] for playing Oliver Wood in the Harry Potter films, will star alongside her.
This certainly isn’t the first connection that our Harry Potter alumni have with Doctor Who. Notably, David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.) played the Tenth Doctor.
The audio stories are being recorded this summer, and they are expected to be released sometime later this year. Radio Times also notes that one of the stories is being written by Christian Brassington, known for his role in Poldark. Little else is known about the project at this time, although we can’t wait to learn more!
Sean Biggerstaff will be making his first US appearance this September at MuggleNet Live! 2017. Let us know how excited you are for his new role in the comments below!
