Margot Robbie Loves Domhnall Gleeson Just as Much as We Do
Actors don’t always work well together, even if the characters they play are close. However, some actors manage to become the best of friends during their time on set. This is certainly the case for Margot Robbie and Domhnall Gleeson (Bill Weasley), who star as A.A. Milne and his wife, Daphne, in Goodbye Christopher Robin. In a recent interview, Robbie gushed about how much she loved filming the movie About Time with Gleeson in 2013 and how she was so glad for the opportunity to do it again:
He is unbelievable. He was amazing and he is such an incredible actor. I love the choices he makes with the roles he does. He is very funny and a wonderful person…He is the greatest guy in the world. I want to keep working with him forever.
For Gleeson, the feeling is mutual:
Margot Robbie is wonderful. She is brilliant to be around and a really good person. You want to hold on to those people. I have worked with her twice now, and I hope that relationship continues over the years.
It makes sense, then, that Robbie is thrilled to work with Gleeson again in their next film, Peter Rabbit:
I’m so excited. We worked together when, actually, it was my first proper movie, and I was working with Domhnall, and now he’s just done the most incredible films, and he’s just such a nice guy. I’m just so excited.
We’re glad these two are close since it hopefully means they’ll work together for years to come! Goodbye Christopher Robin premieres on Friday, September 29, while Peter Rabbit will be released on February 9, so you’ll have plenty of chances to see them in theaters very soon!
