Studio Tour’s “Hogwarts After Dark” Adds Extra Evening for Halloween Feast
Due to popular demand, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter has added an additional night of festivities, on October 27, to the upcoming themed dining experience “Hogwarts After Dark.” The two evenings that were originally announced, October 28 and 29, have already sold out.
The website explains that the event will begin with a reception of smoking dry ice cocktails and canapés. Guests will then step into the Great Hall, which will be decorated with over 100 floating pumpkins as well as mounds of red apples and lollipops, and enjoy a two-course dinner and drinks seated at tables of 10 to 12.
Afterward, guests will be led by lantern to the spooky Forbidden Forest set and have the opportunity to explore the Studio Tour after hours. Dessert will be served on Platform 9¾. Death Eaters will be roaming throughout the evening dressed in original costumes from the films, and the films’ wand choreographer, Paul Harris, will also be on hand to teach combat moves in preparation for a duel with Death Eaters.
Each of the evenings takes place from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.
Tickets for the October 27 event go on sale October 3 at 10:00 a.m. and are priced at £240. For more information, visit the website here.
And if you aren’t able to attend the “Hogwarts After Dark” dining experience, you may still be able to enjoy the Studio Tour’s “Dark Arts” Halloween celebrations, which run from October 1 to November 12. The Great Hall will be decorated, Death Eater costumes will be on display, and Paul Harris will be there to teach visitors how to duel. Tickets can be booked here.
