Gary Oldman to Be Honored at the Hollywood Film Awards!
We are absolutely delighted to report that the one and only Gary Oldman will be receiving a career achievement award at the upcoming Hollywood Film Awards!
Produced by Dick Clark Productions, the award ceremony will be held this Sunday night in Beverly Hills and is recognized for honoring some of the most acclaimed actors, films, and artists. While it is hardly surprising that Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts alumni and films have won countless awards over the years, it is wonderful to know that Oldman will be recognized for his incredible acting career, which has spanned more than three decades!
From playing our beloved Sirius Black in the Potter franchise to the quick-thinking Commissioner Gordon in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, Oldman has received various nominations for Oscar, Emmy, SAG, and BAFTA awards.
In fact, his recent portrayal of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour has generated quite the Oscar buzz! But then again, we’re really not that surprised…
Will you be tuning in to watch the Hollywood Film Awards? Is Sirius Black your favorite character in the Potter series? We would love to know in the comments below!
