New Chocolate Frog Collectible Card at Universal
One of the most recognizable candies from Harry Potter is the Chocolate Frog. When the candies debuted at the theme parks, the frogs only had five collectible cards: Dumbledore and the four founders of Hogwarts. Now, for the second time, a new card has been added to the collection, and this one is a deep track wizard reference.
The latest addition to the Chocolate Frog cards is Hengist of Woodcroft: appropriately, the medieval wizard responsible for founding Hogsmeade. Hengist is a natural addition for another reason. He is among the first cards that Harry collects in Sorcerer’s Stone.
The real-world equivalent of Chocolate Frogs still lags far behind its literary counterpart—there are at least 101 different cards to collect in the books. If you want to get started the easy way, you can purchase the four founders’ cards on the Universal website. However, Dumbledore and Lockhart are only available by chance. Hengist will likely remain this way as well.
Do you collect Chocolate Frog cards? Whom would you like to see added next?
