“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” Receives Even More Nominations!
Voting has opened for the 18th annual WhatsOnStage Awards, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is following up a record-breaking year by making an appearance among the nominees again! One year after its record-breaking evening at the 17th annual WhatsOnStage Awards, Cursed Child is nominated for two awards – Best West End Show and Best Show Poster!

Along with Cursed Child, a handful of Harry Potter alumni are also up for nominations. David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.) is nominated for Best Actor in a Play for his turn in Don Juan in Soho this past spring, and the show is nominated for Best Play Revival. Imelda Staunton (Professor Dolores Umbridge) is nominated for her performance in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? , and her show is also nominated for Best Play Revival.
Last year at the 17th annual WhatsOnStage Awards, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child had 11 nominations, breaking records to take home a total of 8 awards!
See the full list and make sure to get your votes in on the WhatsOnStage website before voting closes on January 31! Winners will be announced at the Awards Concert on February 25 at the Prince of Wales theater in London. Tickets to the event are on sale at the Delfont Mackintosh Theatre website.
