“Fantastic Beasts” VR Experience Released with More Beasts
Remember that Fantastic Beasts virtual reality experience that was released for Google Daydream in November 2016? If you enjoy virtual reality experiences and want to be able to emulate our favorite Magizoologist, then good news! An expanded Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them-inspired virtual reality experience has been released this week (January 23).
The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them VR Experience is a virtual reality experience that requires you to do nothing more than don a pair of VR glasses, slip on some headphones so you can hear Eddie Redmayne channeling Newt Scamander in your ears, and find some space to wave a pretend wand around.
You’ll be able to explore inside Newt’s suitcase and come face to face with a new range of Newt’s favorite creatures, including Bowtruckles, Occamys, and a Thunderbird.
Plus, you won’t be powerless when you face these creatures. The experience allows you to cast spells and interact with the creatures. Basically, it allows you to become Newt for a bit – sounds pretty good to us!
The new and improved Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them VR Experience is available on Vive, Daydream, Oculus, and Gear now.
