Hello again, my fit and lit-inclined friends! It’s time for DFA workout Chapter 2: “The Vanishing Glass.” Today’s workout takes place on the coast. If you listen hard enough, you might just hear the waves of Pembrokeshire Beach near Shell Cottage, “like the breathing of some great, slumbering creature” some 5,270 miles away…
Ahh. And now that you’re relaxed, it’s time to confuse you and get that blood pumping again!
Alas, I gathered from the comments from the last workout that many of you are looking for something a wee bit more challenging. So without further ado, Accio a workout that not even the passionate and iron-fisted (or shall we say “iron-broomed”?) Captain Wood would sneeze at!
Although you won’t learn how to vanish, you might find yourself (momentarily) flying in this workout with our Leviosa leaps! Remember, you can always modify the leaps with curse evades (Muggle name: squats). You can also modify the Krum presses (Muggle name: push-ups) by taking them to your knees.
Workout Breakdown
18-minute AMRAP (as many reps as possible):
1. Leviosa leap (1 minute)
2. Leviosa leap with Krum press (1 minute)
3. Leviosa leap with clapping Krump press (1 minute)
4. Leviosa leap with Hedwig hover (1 minute)
5. Running Snitch & Bludgers (2 minutes)
