“Cursed Child” Opening Date Announced for Australia

Potter fans Down Under have been waiting for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opening dates ever since the news in 2017 that the play would come to Melbourne. Now, we’ve learned that it will open in Melbourne, Australia, at the Princess Theatre on January 16, 2019.

Ticket sales start on August 6, 2018, but fans who sign up for this mailing list by July 29 can get priority access to tickets. If you want to go as soon as possible, consider getting on that list. If Melbourne goes the way Broadway did, tickets could become hard to get!

Cursed Child has won many awards for its runs on the West End and Broadway so far, including six Tony Awards.
