“Harry Potter: The Exhibition” Returns to Germany!

German Potterheads, say willkommen to Harry Potter: The Exhibition! After a stint in Milan, the beloved traveling exhibition will set up shop for a limited engagement at the Caligari Hall at Filmpark Babelsberg in Potsdam this fall.
Fans will be able to get a close look at hundreds of sets and props from the films, from the Potions classroom to the Forbidden Forest. Those who’ve always wanted to explore Hagrid’s hut or plant a mandrake in the Herbology classroom will finally have a chance to do just that while they tour the 1,600‐square‐meter exhibition, along with several other interactive elements.
Harry Potter: The Exhibition will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with tickets ranging between €19.95 and €23.95 for adults. You can attend Harry Potter: The Exhibition in Potsdam starting October 13 for a limited time only, so be sure to book your tickets as soon as possible!

June 20, 2018 – Potsdam, Germany: Exciting news for Harry Potter™ fans! Harry Potter: The Exhibition will return to Germany this fall, offering fans in the region a second chance at an up-close look at thousands of props, costumes and creatures from the Harry Potter films. Opening on October 13, the exhibition will be hosted in the Caligari Hall at Filmpark Babelsberg in Potsdam. Tickets are on sale now at www.harrypotterexhibition.de.
In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, GES Events created the 1,600-square-meter traveling exhibition, where visitors are able to enjoy dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts™ film sets and see the amazing craftsmanship behind authentic costumes, props and creatures from the films. AWC AG are partnering with GES Events to present the exhibition in Potsdam. The Caligari Hall at Filmpark Babelsberg in Potsdam will be the exhibition’s next stop on its European tour following Milan at Fabbrica del Vapore.
Since its highly successful premiere at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago in 2009, it has been presented in a variety of major cultural and entertainment institutions and museums in cities around the world including Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Cologne, Paris, Shanghai, Brussels, Madrid and Milan, welcoming more than 4.5 million visitors. From the moment guests enter Harry Potter: The Exhibition they are immediately drawn into the world of Harry Potter. Guests are greeted by an exhibit host who sorts several lucky fans into their favorite Hogwarts™ houses, then leads them inside the exhibition where their journey to favorite scenes from the Harry Potter films begins.
The exhibition features settings from the films’ most popular locations—including the Gryffindor™ common room and dormitory; classrooms like Potions and Herbology; and the Forbidden Forest—which are filled with thousands of authentic props, costumes, and creatures used in the filming of the iconic series. In addition to the beautiful environments and displays, there are several interactive elements. Guests can enter the Quidditch™ area and toss a Quaffle ball, pull their own Mandrake in the Herbology classroom vignette, and even tour a re-creation of Hagrid’s hut and sit in his giant-sized armchair.

Timed-entry tickets are required, and the last entry will be 60 minutes before closing of the exhibition.
