Jelly Belly Expands Its “Harry Potter” Line with Chocolate Wands, Gummy Creatures, and More

For years, Jelly Belly’s version of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans – as well as its Chocolate Frogs and Jelly Slugs – has been a wonderful snack for Harry Potter fans who want a taste of the wizarding world. Now, Jelly Belly is expanding its licensed Harry Potter line to a total of seven magical treats, repackaged in the style of Fantastic Beasts and bearing the new Wizarding World logo.

New to the collection are chocolate wands, chocolate House crests, chocolate creatures, and gummy creatures. Each 1.5 oz. chocolate wand comes modeled after the wand of one of four main characters – Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Dumbledore – and each comes with a cheat sheet of spells in case fans need reminding.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The chocolate House crests come in a box of all four, 0.25 oz. each, made of chocolate with crisped rice.

Also made of chocolate with crisped rice are the 0.55 oz. chocolate creatures, which come in the shape of six characters and creatures from the series: Aragog, Crookshanks, Fang, Fluffy, Hedwig, and a Thestral. Each also comes with one of six collectible stickers. These packages are blind on the outside, so just like with Chocolate Frog cards, it’ll be a surprise to see which you get!

The gummy creatures also come singly packaged, 1.5 oz. each, in one of four flavor combinations: cherry/lime, cherry/blueberry, blueberry/lime, and lime/orange. These creatures don’t have mystery packaging, so you can choose to pick up Fang, Fluffy, Buckbeak, Hedwig, or Aragog.

Meanwhile, the traditional Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans are now available in a special 4.25 oz. gift box package filled with only the “unusual” flavors (soap, black pepper, dirt, etc.)! Of course, if you still want some of the tasty ones, the 1.2 oz. flip top box and the 1.9 oz. grab & go bag include a mix of all 20 flavors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Chocolate Frog cards are now boasting new photorealistic images of major characters from the series, such as Gilderoy Lockhart. Each Chocolate Frog is 0.55 oz. and made with milk chocolate with crisped rice. The Jelly Slugs come in a 2.1 oz. grab & go bag with flavors of banana, pear, sour cherry, tangerine, and watermelon.
