New Footage Reveals Credence’s Important Role in “Crimes of Grindelwald”
Warner Bros. has released new footage from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which includes new dialogue from the movie intercut with an interview with J.K. Rowling. We just learned new information about Yusuf Kama, and now we have an idea of what exactly Credence is trying to accomplish in this film. Check out the video, titled “The Adventure Continues,” below.
This clip includes the first real line of dialogue we’ve heard from Credence in this film since he doesn’t speak in the first trailer and says only one word in the second trailer. In this clip, Credence says, “I want to know who I am.” So do we, Credence!
This clip also reveals that everyone is in Paris because of Credence. Dumbledore tells Newt, “Credence may not know who he is yet, but he needs to be found.” Credence’s identity seems to be a driving force in this movie.
“Things are becoming much more dark and complicated, and people’s allegiances are now being exposed,” says Rowling in the clip. “Whatever you think you know at the end of the movie might not be the case.”
What do you think about the new information in this trailer? Who is Credence? What don’t we know? We can’t wait to find out!
