A major casting bombshell has just been dropped regarding a specific character joining Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. If you’ve clicked on this article, it’s clear you want to know who it is. But just in case, we’ve put the spoiler under the toggle below!
In a press kit recently released by Warner Bros., a very familiar name popped up in the cast list:
Minerva McGonagall.
Yep! Our favorite Transfiguration professor from Harry's years at Hogwarts will be appearing in Crimes of Grindelwald in some way, shape, or form. This news is a bit confusing to us, because it's widely believed that McGonagall wasn't born until the '30s. Perhaps we will get a flash-forward scene? There have been no clues as to what part her character will play in the story, so it's anyone's guess! But don't worry - only 14 more days until we get to know for sure!
