J.K. Rowling Credits Fans for Her Return to the Wizarding World
Fans from across the globe descended on the city of Paris yesterday for the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald world premiere, and it’s their passion and dedication that J.K. Rowling has credited for her return to the wizarding world.
Speaking on the red carpet, Jo revealed that she’s most excited about the “big themes” that are explored in Crimes of Grindelwald, some of which are reflected in the Potter stories. She also paid tribute to the cast of the new Fantastic Beasts adventure before moving on to talk about its fans, and boy, did she have some nice things to say!
Calling the Potter fandom “the most remarkable in the world,” Jo stated that their passion and loyalty was the reason for her return to the world of magic:
Their loyalty and their passion for these stories really is the reason that I went back, because, without that, I don’t think I would have written these movies.
We’re so happy that Jo decided to return to the wizarding world! You can watch the short red carpet interview below, and read more of MuggleNet’s Crimes of Grindelwald coverage here.
