StarKid May Be Returning to Hogwarts!
A recent tweet made by Nick Lang, cocreator and writer of the original Very Potter musicals, has added more fuel to the fiery rumor that the cast of StarKid will be going back to Hogwarts once more, “and it’s gonna be totally awesome!”
Some of you may remember their amazing productions such as A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel, and A Very Potter Senior Year. These were parody musicals full of hilarious Potter gags, catchy songs, and a fantastic cast of talented young actors. The best part? It was all available to watch on YouTube for free! Their final show, A Very Potter Senior Year, was released on YouTube around five years ago, and we were told through song that “Everything Ends.” Sigh…
However, this exciting but slightly cryptic tweet came a few hours after StarKid’s latest production, The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, ended its 16-night run at the Matrix Theatre in Los Angeles, on November 4, 2018.

Earlier this year on September 1, Team StarKid also tweeted this link.

So it does seem highly likely that StarKid’s version of the golden trio and their many other lovable takes on Potter characters will return in 2019 to celebrate its tenth anniversary! We just might be going back to witches and wizards and magical beasts…
