Universal Orlando Introduces New Wizard on Chocolate Frog Cards
There’s always something new happening at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and we’ve got some news about another exciting addition.
There are a ton of magical sweets in the wizarding world, and one of the most popular is definitely the Chocolate Frogs. We reported earlier this year that Jocunda Sykes, famous for being the first witch to cross the Atlantic Ocean on a broom, was added to the list of those on the cards. According to Universal Orlando Resort’s official blog, if you visit Sugarplum’s Sweetshop in Diagon Alley or Honeydukes in Hogsmeade, you’ll be able to pick up a Chocolate Frog with a newly released card featuring Devlin Whitehorn!
Those familiar with Devlin Whitehorn will know that he was the founder of the Nimbus Racing Broom Company in 1967. If you want to be sure you’re grabbing the frog with Devlin’s card inside, make sure you follow this collector’s tip: The newest cards come with a special sticker on the box. If you can’t make it before the stickers come off, you can still purchase a set of four assorted Chocolate Frogs online on Universal Studios’ online merchandise store.
The number of official cards being released has increased in recent years, and so far, there are ten cards that you can collect: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, Salazar Slytherin, Albus Dumbledore, Gilderoy Lockhart, Hengist of Woodcroft, Bertie Bott, Jocunda Sykes, and now Devlin Whitehorn.
