“Crimes of Grindelwald” Nominated for Three Golden Trailer Awards
Here at MuggleNet, we love bringing you trailers from wizarding world actors’ and actresses’ latest projects each week in our casting news column, Castium Revelio. Trailers go a long way in piquing our interest in a film or television show, teasing us with little glimpses of what’s to come and generating excitement for the main event. They’re basically tiny movies in and of themselves, so why shouldn’t they have their own awards?
The Golden Trailer Awards provide that opportunity for recognition for those in the business of crafting trailers, and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and a host of other films and TV series featuring wizarding world alumni have been announced as nominees for the 20th annual event. The Golden Trailer Awards recognize the best in trailers, commercials, posters, and other marketing campaigns, and they’ll be presented May 29 at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
Crimes of Grindelwald is up for three awards: Best Fantasy Adventure, Best Home Entertainment Fantasy Adventure for “Target Wall,” and Best Fantasy Adventure Poster. We’ll be crossing our fingers! And because we’re just that dedicated to all alumni from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises, we’ve also compiled a list for you of nominees involving some of your favorite stars.
Good luck to all!
