New Trailer for “Late Night” Starring Dame Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling

Just over a month remains until the June 7 release of Late Night! This new comedy stars Dame Emma Thompson (Sybill Trelawney) alongside Mindy Kaling (The Office), who also wrote the film. Earlier this week, Amazon Studios released a second official trailer for the film – and boy, are we excited!

The first official trailer for the film was released in March. Take a peek if you haven’t watched it yet!

In this second trailer, we get more of a peek inside the film and how Molly Patel (Kaling) came to work for late night talk show host Karen Newbury (Thompson). After learning that her show is in its final year, Newbury is desperate to update her writing staff in a last-ditch effort to save the show and herself. Enter Molly to save the day!

This glimpse has us even more eager for June 7. If you can’t wait until then to see Late Night and happen to be in Toronto, you can catch the film during the Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival, which runs May 23–June 2.
