“Harry Potter” Attractions Open at Theme Park in Indonesia
For many fans, these locations are out of reach, but those in Indonesia just got one step closer to the wizarding world. Locations and characters from the series have been added to the Legend Stars Park in Jatim Park 3 in Batu, allowing fans the chance to immerse themselves in all things Harry Potter!
Fans will be able to visit many of the most iconic locations from the series, including the Hogwarts Express, Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, the Great Hall, and Gryffindor Tower.
Furthermore, fans will be able to rent Hogwarts robes and other wizarding accessories so that they look and feel the part. Renting a set of robes currently costs 50,000 Indonesian Rupiah.
Tossy Kusdianto, the Legend Stars Park Operations Manager, hopes that fans across Indonesia will now enjoy the chance to experience the wizarding world right on their doorstep.
Kusdianto spoke about further attractions that the opening of the park offers to fans.
We’ve prepared several zones, such as Platform 9 ¾, Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore wax figures and an animatronic dragon.
At the launch, Kusdianto remarked that it took four and a half months to build this section of the park, though improvements to ensure that the locations match the look of the movies as closely as possible will continue to be made.
The Harry Potter-themed section of the park opened on June 1, but these exciting attractions are sure to draw in fans looking for spectacle and total immersion in the wizarding world for months to come.
