Harry Potter Book Night 2020 Will Celebrate the Triwizard Tournament
The theme for Bloomsbury‘s Harry Potter Book Night 2020 has been announced, and next year’s celebrations will be related to the Triwizard Tournament! The sixth annual Harry Potter Book Night event will be held on February 6, 2020.
In the press release announcing Harry Potter Book Night 2020, Bloomsbury discussed the significance of the coming year’s theme.
The Triwizard Tournament is a breathtaking and pivotal event in the Harry Potter [sic] journey. For the first time, we meet students from other magical schools and watch four champions take part in a perilous set of challenges that will ultimately lead to one of the most devastating moments of the series. The Tournament consists of three tasks, designed to test magical prowess, daring, powers of deduction and the ability to cope with danger. Bloomsbury will put this thrilling wizarding school contest at the very heart of Harry Potter Book Night 2020.
In addition, the publisher noted that Harry Potter Book Night 2019 was the most popular Harry Potter Book Night since the event began in 2015.
Harry Potter Book Night 2019 saw the highest overall registration since the night began in 2015. The digital event kit was downloaded over 16,000 times and Rest of the World registration saw a 43% rise on the previous year. Hundreds of events took place across the UK, bringing Harry Potter fans together within their communities.
