See Jim Kay on Tour in October!

by Gayane Kaligian · September 26, 2019

To celebrate the release of the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, artist Jim Kay will tour England for a week in October. Kay, who has previously illustrated the first three books in the Harry Potter series for Bloomsbury, will share the inspiration behind the art for the books and stories from his time illustrating the books. If you’re looking for insight from the illustrator himself, these events are the perfect opportunity.

The tour begins in Manchester on October 8, the day the book is released, before heading to London, Oxford, Bedford, Bath, Cheltenham, Derby, and Liverpool. Kay will be signing books after the event and giving out exclusive dragon prints to every attendee. Due to time constraints, however, you’ll have to wait for another time to ask for a drawing or a doodle.

If you live near any of the event locations, be sure to catch Jim Kay on tour this October! You can find a full list of dates below and purchase tickets through Bloomsbury’s website.
