Rupert Grint Will Attend First-Look Event for “Servant” at New York Comic Con
Beginning on October 3, New York Comic Con will welcome pop culture fans from hundreds of fandoms, including fans-to-be of M. Night Shyamalan’s new Apple TV+ series, Servant. Apple has announced an exciting first-look event and released a short teaser.
Starting at 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 3 at the Hammerstein Ballroom, A Night with M. Night Introducing SERVANT on Apple TV+ will introduce some of the world’s most enthusiastic fans to the next psychological thriller hit.
The Servant Comic Con event will give fans the opportunity to view exclusive first-look footage and listen to a discussion with the director, cast, and creative team. Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint (Julian Pearce) is scheduled to attend, alongside fellow cast members Lauren Ambrose (Dorothy Turner), Toby Kebbell (Sean Turner), and Nell Tiger Free (Leanne Grayson), writer and creator Tony Basgallop, and executive producer M. Night Shyamalan.
Servant is an exciting project for Apple TV+, a new subscription-based web television service set to launch across all Apple platforms on November 1.
Servant will follow the stories of Dorothy and Sean Turner, a Philadelphia couple mourning a tragedy that disrupts their marriage. When the couple hires a nanny to care for their newborn baby, mysterious forces enter their home. Grint will star as Julian, the younger brother of Dorothy, who is played by Lauren Ambrose.
Further plot details are expected to be released at the Comic Con first-look screening. Shyamalan commented on his excitement ahead of the event.
