Social Media Roundup: Giving Thanks and Getting Magical
Welcome back to Social Media Roundup! In this edition, some of your favorite Wizarding World stars have been sharing their upcoming projects, celebrating Thanksgiving, and singing their hearts out on a magical holiday album.
With Thanksgiving taking place this week in the United States, the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child took to Instagram to tell us what they were thankful for this holiday.

Gary Oldman (Sirius Black) also wanted to wish his followers a “Happy Turkey Day” with this Thanksgiving dinner–themed caricature.
And Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) paid tribute to a classic moment from RuPaul’s Drag Race when wishing his followers a happy Thanksgiving.

Several stars of the Wizarding World have been posting about their new and soon-to-be-released projects.
Emma Watson shared a clip of some of the moments we can look forward to in the upcoming adaptation of Little Women, which will be released later this month.
Filming has begun on Tom Felton’s newest project, a Dutch war movie titled De Slag om de Schelde, which translates to The Forgotten Battle.
And Matthew Lewis attended the premiere of a short film he produced titled On My Own.

Finally, a number of Wizarding World stars have been posting about a shared project that has arrived just in time for the holiday season!

A Magical Time of Year is a holiday album in support of J.K. Rowling’s charity, Lumos. It features a number of actors from across the Wizarding World and is available to stream and purchase now.
Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein) sings the Christmas classic “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
Sudol’s Fantastic Beasts castmate Claudia Kim is also featured on the album. Kim sings a song perfect for Hogwarts in December, “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”
Quite a few faces from Cursed Child also make appearances on the album. Thomas Aldridge (Ron Weasley, Cursed Child London) and Michelle Gayle (Hermione Granger, Cursed Child London) shared their thoughts on being part of A Magical Time of Year on Instagram.
