Discover the Magic of “Harry Potter” Through a Virtual Tour
Following the closure of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, it was decided that some magical events will be held virtually. This is to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 through social distancing.
Regardless of if you can travel to London, United Kingdom, fans can still experience the magic of Harry Potter with this new virtual tour. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and includes interactive experiences such as games and trivia. It takes viewers to sites from the movie series such as the filming locations of platform nine and three-quarters and the Leaky Cauldron. Unlike other tours, which require a minimum number of people to join, this tour runs no matter how many have signed up.
Visitors depart from 89 Charing Cross Rd in the West End of London, UK and then make their way along the tour. The first stop is the Palace Theatre, which is home to performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Moving along, the tour passes by Covent Garden, filled with J.K. Rowling history; Millennium Bridge, which was destroyed by Death Eaters in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince; Borough Market, which is the site of the Leaky Cauldron; and finally, King’s Cross station and platform nine and three-quarters, which ends the tour at the Harry Potter Shop.
We hope everyone can find their light during these dark times. Will you bring the magic into your home with this virtual tour?
