Sorting Hat Locket Pin Now Available from the Harry Potter Fan Club
Pin Seekers of Wizarding World Digital’s Harry Potter Fan Club have a new, rare pin to get their hands on. Unlike the recently released House pin sets and Hogwarts Express pin, the new Sorting Hat locket pin is the collection’s first limited-edition offering, even coming with a small “L” on the back.
The locket features an image of the Sorting Hat surrounded by stars, and it comes with four inserts, showing each of the Hogwarts Houses’ crests and their respective portions of the Sorting Hat’s song, so you can choose which of the inserts to place in the locket.
The Sorting Hat locket pin is priced at $19.99 or £18.00, and it is available for Wizarding World Gold Members to purchase now at 20% off. Any pins that aren’t snatched up right away will become available for general release tomorrow, September 23, at 11:00 a.m. ET.

Another neat feature of the collection is that each pin packet comes with an Enchanted Key that, when scanned, will unlock extra surprises on the Wizarding World app.

As an avid pin collector, I was very excited to receive this Sorting Hat pin. At first glance, it was just in a FedEx package, but once I broke inside, I found this amazing metallic-gold packaging where I knew I would find my pin. After I unsealed the packaging and reached in, I found the pin wrapped in bubble wrap. I was very happy with the way the item was packaged; I knew once I opened it, nothing would be damaged.
I opened the pin’s packaging and slid the pin out, and it was glorious. The first impression I got from the pin, packaging and all, was that it was super sleek. At first, I didn’t know how I liked it because it seemed to be a minimalistic locket, but I was surprised when I took the pin off of the card; it unfolded into a trifold of the classic Sorting Hat speech written on the card.
There were four locket-sized cards with each House and traits on them in a metallic font. A small piece inside the locket comes off (two small magnets), and it acts as a frame. Once you choose your House and lock it into place, add it to your jacket, backpack, or whatever you would like, and now you have a customized pin for yourself!
I love the design and everything about this; it feels customizable and personal, which is so great, and it looks extremely valuable. I am in love with it and hope to receive more Wizarding World Pin Seeking pins in the future!
