Events Roundup: Cocktails, Wand-Making, and Even Summer Camp
It’s time for another Events Roundup, and the latest magical events will have you spellbound – or maybe wishing that you were a kid again. Let’s find out what’s coming up!
The Boozy Cauldron Pop-Up Tavern
If you’re in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, area, a new cocktail pop-up inspired by the Harry Potter series is running for two nights only. The South Florida Sun Sentinel reports that the Boozy Cauldron Pop-Up Tavern will offer a “‘four-part cocktail experience’ and 90-minute magic show” on March 26 and 27. The event will be held at the Savor Cinema with capacity restrictions and reservations for set times, with more information on its Eventbrite page.
Not in South Florida? The organizers of the pop-up, Rock Star Beer Festivals, have another Boozy Cauldron Pop-Up Tavern event scheduled in Portland, Oregon, from April 15 to 17. Tickets to the pop-up are $40 per person in both cities.
Get Your Wizard On Wand Making Night
In the Newfane, New York, area and in the market for a new wand? WAHI Studio will be offering a wand-making event on Saturday, April 17, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EDT. The Get Your Wizard On Wand Making Night will feature an assortment of wand bases and decorative elements. Tickets are $30 per person.
Harry Potter Acting Summer Camp
If you know a child between the ages of 10 and 17 who is interested in acting and Harry Potter and lives near Vista, California, a summer camp being offered by Lighthouse Players this summer might be just the thing for them! From 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 6, artistic directors Noelle Marie and Ben Williams will help students develop their theater skills using a little bit of magic. According to the Eventbrite page, students “will delight in snacks from Hogsmeade, be chosen by a wand, and take flight into acting, improv, movement and voice workshops!” Tuition for the camp is $300.
That’s all for this update, but stay tuned for even more great events coming your way.
If you’re hosting an upcoming magical event, you can submit it for inclusion in a future Events Roundup by sending all relevant information to submissions@staff.mugglenet.com.
