Magical Memories: Photographer and Graphic Artist Creates Wizarding World-Inspired Family Photos
There are your traditional family photos that capture the beauty and kinship of a family, and then there are Alexandria’s family photos, which are a little different. Alexandria is a photographer and graphic artist known as Alexandria’s Lens who defies the tradition of family photos by adding a lot of magic. Her wonderful wizarding family shares its love of the Harry Potter series through magical family photos.
Dating as far back as 2015, Alexandria has posted her beautiful family photos to social media. Her family photos are often deeply inspired by the Wizarding World. On her social media accounts, you’ll see her family wearing various wizarding costumes such as Hogwarts robes, casting spells like the Patronus Charm, or riding broomsticks. They’ve also ushered in the last couple of New Years and even announced additions to their family by raising their wands.

Scrolling through her Instagram feed, you’ll easily be captivated by the beautiful and often cinematic look of all of her photos. Not only are you transported to a different world with each scene playing out in the photo, but you’ll also likely be stricken with awe by the background of each photo or be stricken with “aww” by the cuteness of her kids. Alongside the finished product, she also posts behind-the-scenes snapshots or videos of her children posing for the photos and raw, unedited photos of the settings she chooses.

While a good portion of Alexandria’s feed contains references to the Wizarding World, she does share photos that are inspired by other beloved stories or her original creations, all of which have a healthy dose of whimsy guaranteed to make you smile. Keeping with the theme of magic, she’s even partnered with Disney to capture some gorgeous shots of her family in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
