London Performances of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” Postponed Until October
Fans hoping to catch a performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London, England, will have to wait even longer, the official website for the production has announced. Previously scheduled to resume in July, performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre will now resume this October.
The official website notes that Cursed Child performances are expected to begin on October 14. (At the time of publication, statements were not present on the play’s social media outlets.)
Please be assured that the producers are now hoping for performances to start in London from Thursday 14th October, 2021 subject to Government guidelines. We are working closely with Government bodies and health organisations in the UK to ensure we are following the very latest advice.
Additionally, those with tickets to an affected performance of the play will be contacted by the company through which they purchased their tickets.
We are listening to the concerns of ticket holders and have ticket refund and exchange policies in place. All patrons holding tickets to affected performances do not need to do anything as your point of purchase will be in touch to arrange exchanges, refunds or to re-book for a future performance.
Other productions of Cursed Child remain suspended around the globe due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and only the Melbourne, Australia, production has resumed its performances so far. For more on the latest announcement from the London production, visit its “COVID-19 Update” page.
