Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter Announces 2021 Events
We’re beginning to see more places returning to regular hours, and events are popping up over the next few months. Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is set to open on May 17, and there are already multiple events planned for 2021. You’ll definitely want to keep your eyes on some of the magical experiences awaiting fans.
1. A Celebration of Slytherin
Back by popular demand, the Celebration of Slytherin special feature will begin on May 17 and be ongoing until September 15. Step back in time to when we made our first visit to the Slytherin common room when Harry and Ron were under the effects of Polyjuice Potion. A 25-foot-high section of this iconic scene will be on display and fully furnished with authentic props. When you step into the Great Hall, the banners suspended from the enchanted ceiling will feature the green and silver Slytherin colors paying homage to the victory of the House Cup. We’ll get a special look into the Malfoy family designs shown to reflect their rise and fall of power and status alongside Lord Voldemort. Fans will also see the evolution of Voldemort’s costumes from young orphan to prolific villain.
2. Dark Arts
Beginning September 24, the popular Dark Arts feature will return. Visitors will be able to see the Great Hall covered with over 100 floating pumpkins, and the long tables will be dressed with a fabulous Halloween feast. There will be a live duel demonstration about how battle scenes were directed, so you better start working on your wandwork now. There will be new additions that have never been seen, and more details will be released closer to the time. This feature will run until November 7.
3. Hogwarts in the Snow
We all know how magical Christmas seems in the wizarding world with the giant trees, the ever-present snow, and the yummy goodies displayed in the Great Hall. Beginning November 13, you can experience Christmas in the wizarding world with the Hogwarts in the Snow feature. The Great Hall will be lined with Christmas trees, and the tables will be dressed in a decadent feast. Snow will cover the Hogwarts Castle model as well as the shopfronts in Diagon Alley. If you can’t make it to this experience before Christmas, it will be present until January 16, 2022.
