BREAKING: Plot Revealed for “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore”
Alongside this morning’s big reveal of the title of the third Fantastic Beasts film, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, and its release date being moved up, Wizarding World Digital has revealed this plot outline for the film:
Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?
The description does not seem to say much beyond what we already know and expect to see in the upcoming film, but it is nice to have confirmation that the beasts will still be playing an important role. Keep an eye on MuggleNet for more speculation of what may be to come!
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is now slated for release globally on April 15, 2022, three months earlier than previously expected, but interestingly, Wizarding World Digital notes that it may come “potentially earlier in a few international markets.”
Now that we’ve finally got the long-awaited title and plot outline, we’re hopeful a trailer will be soon to follow. We’re now just seven months out from the release date, but the first trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald came eight months before its release date, and the first trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them came a whole 11 months before it was released.
