It is an unofficial secret item on the menu and is known to staff as the “Butterbeer Blizzard” ice cream treat. So unless you know how to order it, you wouldn’t be able to. It has even been featured in People since it’s become a very popular order.

Butterbeer is one of the most popular drinks in the wizarding world, alongside the ever-iconic firewhisky and pumpkin juice. Let’s be honest – a Harry Potter film simply wouldn’t be a Harry Potter film without a scene of Harry, Ron, and Hermione and friends sipping on a butterbeer, or even just mentioning the drink.
To get a customized Blizzard ice cream treat with a butterbeer flavor, Dairy Queen customers simply have to order a Blizzard with vanilla syrup, butterscotch syrup, Butterfinger pieces, and some whipped cream to top it off with.
