A Pumpkin Raid Is Coming to “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery”
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is continuing to up the game this Halloween season. From the hints being dropped on the Hogwarts Mystery Instagram page, it looks like even more surprises are coming our way – are you ready? Here’s to hoping for a Halloween gift of free energy.
About a week ago, the team at Hogwarts Mystery let us know that it is officially available as a cloud game on Facebook Gaming. This means that we can play the game in the Facebook app on Android and in mobile and desktop browsers with no install required. As of right now, this feature is only available in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with new countries being added in 2022.
Chapter 20 in Year 7 left us with quite a cliff-hanger. After not seeing our brother in a while, you can imagine the shock when Chiara told us the news of him being hurt. Jacob’s injuries seem consistent with dragon burns, but something is off about it all. Nobody seems to know where Jacob has been or what he’s been up against, but when his condition begins to worsen, we know we have a lot to do to solve the mystery and bring him back to health.
After dealing with in-game drama, pumpkin carving could provide some much-needed stress relief. Did you see the templates Hogwarts Mystery shared with everyone on Instagram? These four templates are waiting to be included in your home decor, but there’s even better news. Share your carved pumpkins by using #HogwartsMysteryPumpkins and receive 100 gems and 100 energy for free.

Be prepared – a Pumpkin Raid is making its way to the game on October 27. Each day, a special pumpkin can be found in Hogwarts, and when you find the hiding spot, you’ll be rewarded. It seems like this might be similar to when we were searching for Chocolate Frogs hidden around Hogwarts. Keep an eye on the Hogwarts Mystery social media pages to find the pumpkin’s hiding spot.

Can you believe the surprises and guessing games aren’t over yet? Over the last few days, Hogwarts Mystery has shown us some new locations that will be popping up in-game. We recognize the cemetery where Harry and Hermione visited the grave of Lily and James Potter, and it seems a certain famous author could be making an appearance soon.
There is so much going right now. Will Jacob be okay? Can we make our pumpkin carving look like Hogwarts and not a blob? What rewards are we going to get for participating in the Pumpkin Raid? There’s only one way to find out, and that’s to keep playing Hogwarts Mystery.
