Welcome back to another edition of MuggleNet’s Social Media Roundup. Wizarding World stars have been getting into the spirit of Halloween by donning costumes and picking pumpkins. There’s also been a number-one movie, climate change action, travel adventures, and more, so grab a cup of pumpkin juice and get ready to catch up on all the latest things from your favorite witches and wizards.
First up, Emma Watson returned to Instagram! Since returning, Emma has shared a post every day to her account in the build-up to the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) to highlight the work of activists and artists shining a light on protecting the environment. As well as sharing others’ work, she posted about her “empowering” experience of learning skills behind the camera in lockdown.

It’s been over two weeks since Evanna Lynch’s memoir, The Opposite of Butterfly Hunting: The Tragedy and the Glory of Growing Up, was published, and she’s still coming to terms with the fact that her friends and family are reading her book.

Speaking of Evanna’s family and friends, James Phelps (Fred Weasley) spotted a copy of her book in his local bookstore.

Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) took a relaxed approach to his costume, which was actually for a fancy-dress birthday party. In response to a follower, he revealed that the costume was supposed to be iconic school-skipper Ferris Bueller but that many people thought he was Arthur Dent from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
Going to a fancy dress birthday tonight, and just found the perfect excuse to go in my PJs and a dressing gown 👌👌

On a different kind of adventure was Matthew Lewis, who attempted to transport a cardboard cutout of soccer player Raphael Dias Belloli across the United States from Los Angeles to Orlando. Don’t worry; it made it in one piece!
